This workshop aims to create a roadmap for the church’s future by defining its mission, vision, goals, and action plans. It involves assessing the current situation, identifying desired outcomes, and developing strategies to achieve them. Key elements often include defining the church’s mission, conducting a situational analysis, and creating actionable plans.

1. Define Mission and Vision:

  • The workshop will begin by reflecting on the church’s core mission and values.
  • Clarifying the church’s vision for the future is crucial for setting a direction.
2. Conduct a Situational Analysis:
  • This involves examining both internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) that may impact the church’s ability to achieve its goals.
  • Analyzing industry trends, competitor analysis, and understanding the needs of the congregation are important aspects of this analysis.

3. Set Goals and Objectives:

  • Based on the mission, vision, and situational analysis, the workshop will establish specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.
  • Objectives will be clearly defined and provide a roadmap for achieving the goals.

4. Develop Action Plans:

  • Action plans outline the specific steps needed to achieve the identified objectives.
  • These plans will include timelines, resource allocation, and designated individuals responsible for implementation.
