MSBBC&S Mourns the Loss of Dr. Carl Davis

The Maple Springs Baptist Bible College & Seminary community is mourning the loss of Dr. Carl Davis, who died early this week after a prolonged illness.

Dr. Davis served as the Acting Executive Vice President and was professor of theology. He taught students at MSBBC&S for 15 years. Dr. Davis joined the faculty of Maple Springs in 2007 serving as professor of theological studies. Dr. Davis went on to serve in many areas at MSBBC&S from department chair to dean of our seminary.

Dr. Davis was one of the most faithful, kind, committed, and gifted teachers of his generation and he shaped many leaders in the service of the church. Dr. Davis labored faithfully in ministry, having served local churches in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

We love the entire Davis family and grieve with them. To know Dr. Davis was to love him. His legacy at Maple Springs is secure.
